Manufacture of aquariums
Lebedev, Ilya ; Myslín,, Jiří (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with documentation for obtaining a building permit approval and documentation for building aquarium factory. The work is based on earlier created study of the subject AG033. Bukovany is a village in Hodonín district in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. This plot is almost near the eastern border of the village. The land is sloping, relatively narrow and long. The shape of the estate greatly influenced the location of the building and the connection to the existing roads. There is good availability for supply and shipping. The factory is divided into four above-ground interconnected buildings with different functions. All objects are without basement and have only one floor. On the southern side of the plot is located a representative administrative part of the building, which surrounds the main factory building. It is possible to drive into the main production hall by a truck and to handle large and heavy glass panes by means of a bridge crane. The manufacturing process of gluing has high demands on the illumination of the premises, therefore it is illuminated by the Lightway Maximus roof skylights and the windows around the perimeter of the hall. This production hall is directly connected to the warehouse and joinery space. The construction system of the production objects is prefabricated, based on monolithic nibs. The part of the building, which serves as a warehouse has a brick walls. The eastern and most sloping part of the plot is filled with greenery. There is an artificial small lake in front of the administrative part of the building.

The aim of this bachelor thesis was designing a new industrial object and creating structural part of design documentation for a production hall in Brno Horní-Heršpice. This object is based on a architectural study made as part of subject AG035. Horní Heršpice is a city district located at southern side of Brno. At the plot there are few small buildings in desolate conditions, which are intended for demolition. Car service building in the eastern side of plot is preserved in my design. Architectural conception was to creace three graduating masses. Every mass has its own internal function – administrative building, production hall with a crane and production hall with storage facilities. Toghether they create one functional unit. From office hall emerges glazed exhibition space. Its load-bearing structure is made of subtle glass beams. This space represents aquarium. Skeletal structural system is made from precast concrete elements. For facade are used white sandwich facade panels. Roof panels at halls create gable roof. Administrative building has green terrace. To break the symmetry is used polygonal water feature. Above the water there is glass artwork and pier. Object is meant to represent company akvária-Pavlica with its elegance, minimalism and present technologies, used to create aquariums, in structural details.

Nováková, Pavla ; Štikar, Jaroslav (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor) ; Donaťáková, Dagmar (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is based on an architectural study worked up in the fourth semester of the bachelor’s study during the subject Ateliér architektonické tvorby III – AG033. The aim of the subject was the design of an industrial object designed for the production of aquaria on an assigned parcel in the village Bukovany near Kyjov. Not only was there a need for the design of production areas, but it was also necessary to design areas for the production of related furniture, an administrative area and a showroom for the presentation of products. The objective of the thesis was the creation of a construction study, the documentation for the execution of the project and an architectonic detail for the designed building. The assigned parcel is located on the edge of the village of Bukovany, in a relatively calm part of the village surrounded by a football field, cemetery and a former agricultural area. The designed object is formed of 6 separated areas – an administrative area, an exhibition and entry area, a production area, a woodworking area, a storage area and a technical area. The building is formed of a ground floor and one underground floor. Structurally the building is designed on a 6-meter module and the mixed structural system is used. For lighting the areas continuous saddle skylights are used, which switch to vertical elements on the edges of the building. The surroundings of the building are landscaped, including a resting area with a small lake on the southern part of the parcel.

The aim of the bachelor’s thesis was to develop project documentation for the study of aquariums production for the company called Akvária Pavlica, which was developed within the subject AG035 Studio of Architectural Creation - Production Buildings, in the 3rd year of the bachelor’s study. Due to its business successes, the company needed to build new production capacities and decided to locate the new headquarters in Brno, in the cadastral area of Horní Heršpice, where the surrounding buildings on the south side consist mainly of indoor industrial buildings. The bachelor thesis contains documentation for building permits and implementation documentation. The land is registered as a brownfield, is intended for industrial production, and is connected to Sokolova Street. It is a slightly sloping terrain falling to the north. A part of the former Elplast’s factory building is still situated in the south, which, however, will be demolished. The new building consists of four units. The first consists of an exhibition space and an entrance hall, which is followed by another part with facilities for employees and administration. The third is a carpentry with some storage facilities and technical facilities. The fourth and the largest part represents the production hall. Production of aquariums Brno Pavlica
Čadová, Veronika ; Vostrejž, Dušan (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor) ; Bečkovský, David (advisor)
The topic of the bachelor thesis is a design of an industrial building for the Akvária Pavlica company. The design deals with documentation for obtaining a building permit and documentation of construction. The project is based on a previously developed architectural study for the subject AG035 and contruction study for the subject AG036. The assigned building parcel is located in the west part of Brno Horní Heršpice and slopes slightly to the north side. The parcel is situated near the local road of the Sokolova street. The main access to the parcel is also from the same street. The layout design of the plot contains a parking lot for employees and visitors, an seperated area for trucks and a garden area. At the moment the parcel mostly fits into the brownfields. The design of the new building consists of 3 functional units - exhibition space/showroom, facilities for administration and production space. The basic idea was to separate the units for the public from employees and vice versa. For this reason, the production and exhibition unit is located in "stand-alone" functioning units. The administration is located on them as the 2nd floor. That creates a walk - through area to the garden and the main entrance to the building. The construction system is a steel frame structure based on the reinforced concrete step footing foundations covered by flat and sloped roofs. The steel frame structure is supplemented by Ytong blocks. The Trimoterm vertical panels are used throughout the building as a facade covering. The mainly used materials for construction are steel, glass, concrete and metal. The main aim of the design was to create a well-functioning spatially separated but overall compact space, which will ensure both quality product production, as well as a pleasant working space for employees and a functional space for public visitors.

This bachelor thesis deals with documentation for gaining building permit approval and documentation for building aquarium factory. Thesis is based on earlier created AG032 course study. Popovice is located in Uherské Hradiště county, this parcel of land is located near south border of the county. The estate is flat and relatively narrow; therefore, the shape of the estate has influenced the placement of individual objects. The estate is near railroad station. Because of the near highway E55, the supply and dispatch accessibility is good. The factory is divided into four above-ground objects that are mutually dilated according to the production requirements. All objects do not possess a cellar. The first object is located in the southern part of the estate. In the first object there is a product showroom and administrative section with employee facilities. Due to showroom’s atypical shape, this object is partially made of reinforced concrete and partially made of Porotherm system construction blocks. The production hall is located behind this object. The access to the production hall is possible with a truck, also it is possible to manipulate heavy blocks of glass with a crane. The manufacturing process of glueing has high demands for light, therefore, the object is equipped with roof belt light well and large glass walls. This production hall is connected to waste storage unit in the east side and wood processing building on the north side. Also, there are technological facilities for both objects. The supply and dispatch area is located between the main production hall, waste storage unit and wood processing building. The construction system of production objects is skeleton, prefabricated and based on monolithic nibs. The light wells and roof are made of steel. Waste storage unit’s load-bearing system is made of bricks. Kingspan white colour facade panels are the main connecting elements throughout the whole factory. Behind the factory there is park greenery with
